Christoper Newport University, which advanced two teams to the Elite 8 during the fall season and another to the Sweet 16, compiled 298 points to place third out of approximately 450 NCAA Division III athletic programs in the Learfield Sports Directors Cup standings after the fall championship season. The Captains lead five Capital Athletic Conference programs to rank among the top 135 teams in the national rankings through the Fall 2014-15 season.
